A group of Parisian kids find a mysterious kite sent by a Chinese boy. Pierrot, the leader of the group, looks for the boy's address on the kite. But this essential part of the kite has been stolen by the 'bad boy' Bébert. With a little help from a Chinese magician, Pierrot finally meets his fellow 'child of the world' in Peking.
