Climate change leads disorientated crows to migrate to an island off France’s west coasts.
Sonia, the island's doctor, and researcher Jerome Atlan are dismayed by the birds' changing behavior and increasing violence. As their numbers grow, the crows gradually take over the island, cutting its means of communication with the continent, which is good news for the gang of bank robbers that has holed up there.
And just then, Estelle, Sonia's daughter, the only person who seemed able to pacify the birds, mysteriously disappears.
