Obsessed with producing a hit album for a young pop singer, Antoine takes for granted his 10-year marriage to Alice, a beautiful, accomplished magistrate and loving mother to their two young daughters. Until the day she throws him out, files for divorce and then leaves the girls on his doorstep for two weeks! Frazzled by work and challenged by ordinary parental duties he has never known before, Antoine sees this forced custody as a chore. But little by little, as he gets to know his own daughters, he finds out what it really means to be a father and discovers the precious joys of sharing irreplaceable moments of learning to live - and love.
