Cundo (Javier Camara) returns home after ten years’ absence. The reason is the death of his best friend, Suso. Cundo’s plans consist of having a drinking evening to Suso’s health with his old friends, pretending that everything in his life is perfect and then getting the hell out again.
But it won’t be as easy as he thought. His past catches up with him and he is hard pushed to convince his parents and friends that he is no longer the irresponsible dissolute he used to be.
Unexpectedly, Cundo discovers that Suso also left a loose end dangling. His last great dream: to build a wooden tower in his place , the point being to climb to the top and see things from a higher perspective. A final opportunity for the group of friends to do something together.

"Javier Camara mining to terrific comic effect the same vein of troubled innocence he did in Pedro Almodovar's "Talk to Her"... The right balance of wit and warmth... An authentically enjoyable comedy."
