Paris - This is a love story of a twenty-five year old yugoslave painter, Dragan, and a Parisian woman about the same age, Jeanne : how they meet, their first night, their happiness in love until we discover over a routine identification that Dragan is residing illegally in France. He has no visa and must leave the country in three days. A love story meant for a lifetime is suddenly threatened to be cut short. They decide to break the law and stay together even if it is in relative hiding, or in "clandestinité". This predicament, however difficult, tests and strengthens their love. In some intimate moments they find peace, and share a rare freedom. This fragile harmony is officially interrupted by the arrival of the French authorities who come to expulse Dragan from the country. Dragan cannot speak french very well however like Jeanne, he speaks English. Hence this love story will be in English.
