On his way to London on a business trip with his beautiful Chinese fiancée, Jerome Varenne makes a stop in Paris to visit his mother and brother.
Over dinner, he learns that his childhood home, in the village of Ambray, is at the heart of an intricate legal conflict. So before heading to London, he decides on a whim to go to Ambray and straighten things out. But this detour results in an unexpected encounter that will reveal facets of his family Jerome never even suspected, and cast new light on his relationship with his late father. As he reconnects with a past he had forgotten, Jerome makes peace with his long-lost father. And on the way, he also finds true love.
