Becky del Paramo, Spanish pop-music singer in the 1960's, comes back to Madrid after many years away. She returns to find her daughter Rebecca not just married, but married to an ex-lover of hers, Manuel, who owns the private television station for which Rebecca works as a news broadcaster. Rebecca is thrilled to see her mother, but Manuel is even happier, and he decides to try to re-ignite the old flame with his mother-in-law.
