Principle photography has begun on “TWO LOVERS AND A BEAR”

MAX FILMS ANNOUNCES PRINCIPLE PHOTOGRAPHY ON “TWO LOVERS AND A BEAR”
STARRING DANE DEHANN AND TATIANA MASLANY

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – March 17, 2015: Principle photography has begun on “Two Lovers and a Bear” in Timmins, Canada. The film will also shoot in Iqaluit in the Nunavut territory. Set in the frigid cold of the North Pole, the film stars Dane DeHaan (“The Amazing Spider-Man 2,” “Life”) and Tatiana Maslany (“Orphan Black”) who star as Roman (DeHaan) and Lucy (Maslany), two young adults who not only have to fight against the elements of the small North Pole town they live in, but against their past, and inner-demons to find love amongst the harsh reality.

Roger Frappier of MAX Films is producing the film, which is written and directed by Kim Nguyen (Oscar® nominated for Best Foreign Film for “War Witch”). The film is co-produced by Jonathan Bronfman (“The Witch”) and Ellen Hamilton ("Kajutaijuq: The Spirit That Comes); Jeff Sackman is executive producer. The film is being lensed by Nicolas Bolduc.

Entertainment One (eOne)/Les Films Seville will distribute the film across Canada. TF1 International has acquired worldwide distribution rights and will introduce the film to buyers at the upcoming Cannes Film Festival.
