Clara is a divorcee with two young children and an unusual professional itinerary: a former police captain once married to her boss, she now runs her own private detection agency.
But one of her first big cases threatens to become too hot to handle, when she is hired by handsome young lawyer to investigate his client’s alleged guilt in the murder of an ice skating trainer.
The victim’s young protégé pleads guilty but Clara isn’t convinced. And complications ensue when her ex-husband, Paul, gets involved in the case.
