CANNES CLASSICS 2014 OFFICIAL SELECTION UNVEILED

TF1 Droits Audiovisuels is proud to announce that its remastered version of Jean-Paul Rappeneau's LA VIE DE CHATEAU (aka GRACIOUS LIVING) has been selected at CANNES CLASSICS 2014.

Screening will take place Sunday, May 18 at 8:00 pm, salle Buñuel.

A winner of the 1965 Louis Delluc Prize, this elegant yet extremely funny film stars Catherine Deneuve, Philippe Noiret, Pierre Brasseur, Henri Garcin and Mary Marquet in June 1944 Normandy.

The film has been restored in 2K at Mikros Image from the original negative. Color grading has been done in collaboration with Jean-Paul Rappeneau and Pierre Lhomme, his director of photography on the shooting. Michel Legrand’s music recordings were made available with the help of Stéphane Lerouge.

The 2014 program of Cannes Classics is made of twenty-two features and two documentaries.
