Captain Boukhors, Artificial Intelligence Officer at a military base, is assassinated in his home one evening. Inspector Fabiani is assigned to the case, along with Colonel Etchepare, the military officer in charge of investigations. Lorraine Boukhors, the assassinated captain's wife, is acting strangely. Fabiani uncovers she is on a drug called Benzodiazepine which produces memory loss. In addition, she has been sleeping with another man... Etchepare tries to accuse her. Couldn't Etchepare be guilty ? Wasn't he the man in bed with Lorraine while she was under the influence of drugs ? Fabiani clashes with Etchepare. But from their power struggle grows a mutual respect which will lead them together to arrest the killer.
