Following the death of his wife, Joseph Maroyeur, a powerful
winegrower and horsebreeder, discovers that his grandson, Leo, is mixed up in a dangerous drug heist whose consequences threaten to destroy his empire, especially when Leo kills the emissary of the drug lords who want to recover the heroin.
Overnight, the patriarch's vast domain becomes a theater of violence: his vineyards are burned, his beloved horses shot.
As threats escalate, endangering the lives not only Joseph and Leo but their family, the old man and his grandson come to love and respect each other.
Together they concoct a plan of action to stop the drug dealers...
