VULNERABLE
Laura and Solenne, both fresh out of medical school, begin their internship in Dr. Hébrard's prestigious neurological service while alternating on emergency ward duty. They quickly come up against the abrasive environment and grueling hours. Laura must negotiate a complex relationship with her direct superior, Dr. Franck Moreno, an ex-lover who had a decisive influence on her vocation, while Solenne has to deal with the hostility of the nursing staff, who won't forgive her for being the daughter of Dr. Maresquier, the brilliant but tyrannical surgeon. and Hébrard's predecessor. No sooner has she begun her service then she becomes the scapegoat of Driss Benazzi, the clinic head.

PROTEGES
Destabilized by the exhausting working conditions and her difficult relations with Dr. Moreno, Laura considers leaving the service. But her confidence is restored by the smile of a mother's smile when her child is saved from death. Solenne fights the prejudices against her by devoting herself heart and soul to her patients. Dr. Moreno wonders if he must attempt an operation that has a 15% chance of succeeding. Driss Benazzi ponders the attitude to adopt toward a wounded, arrogant young delinquent. Virgil is devoured by anxiety when he becomes the object of a series of poison pen letters.

UNTIL THE BITTER END
In the emergency ward, Laura takes charge of a man in his forties who complains about violent headaches.
