A sports car becomes the central prop in a man's masquerade to impress his young daughter. When André Herbault, human resources director for a multinational group which sponsors a leading soccer team, is asked to drive a Ferrari down to Monaco as a gift to the team's star player, a basically simple journey turns into a funny road movie. Herbault picks up hitchhiking Vincent Saulnier, who has been unemployed for the past three years-dismissed from the very company that André personally had been in charge of downsizing! Vincent is on his way to pick up his young daughter, Olivia, from whom he has hidden his situation. Eager to make her believe things are fine, Vincent asks André if he can take the wheel of the glamorous Ferrari as they arrive at the boarding school. Out of guilty, André agrees. But within no time, the two men find themselves trapped in a lie that leads them further into a tangle of misunderstandings and merry confusion..
