Anne Joubert thinks she's achieved a perfect balance in life. At the age of 38, she has an exciting job in a leading pharmaceutical lab, an angelic 16-year-old daughter, Camille, and a long-term companion, Marc. But her happiness is nothing but a façade, as she soon finds out. Marc decides to leave her; at work, Anne feels threatened by a new collaborator, and Camille in fact has been lured into a world of drugs. It will be a long, hard fight to rebuild her shattered life and save her loved ones from the effects of her own egotism.
