EPISODE 21 – HI MOM!

Happy days are here again for Caro, until her sister Ines introduces her to Adrian, a young Spanish man who asks to see Caro alone. Xavier starts to wonder about the nature of their relationship. Adrian claims to be Caro’s biological son. The event makes big waves in the whole family, especially for Clem, who has to remain bedbound until she gives birth. But all that emotion could very well speed up the arrival of her second child.

EPISODE 22 – THE RISK OF THE JOB

With Adrian’s arrival, Salome is less the center of the family’s attention. Except that she is smitten with teen love, and not for just anyone. It’s her school teacher! 26-year-old Simon is a heartthrob and keeps his distance, until he finds it harder and harder to remain indifferent to his student’s charms. Caro decides to investigate into the identity of Salome’s mystery love. As for Clem and Jerome, the new mother already dreams of getting back to work. Until then, she does beauty tutorials with Hicham. Meanwhile, exhausted by sleepless nights with Emma and keeping up at work, Jerome also has to deal with ever-growing tensions between himself and Xavier.

EPISODE 23 – HOW CAN YOU NOT DOUBT?

Clem and Jerome take Emma to the emergency room for the second time when her elbow dislocates again. Without informing them, a doctor files a report for suspected child abuse. With Jerome out of work and Clem worn out from her new job, the family has to deal with an intrusive social worker. When Jerome’s past as an abused child comes to the surface, the couple nearly implodes. Caro uses the Christmas celebration Marie-France has organized at the Chenes to give the young couple a helping hand. Meanwhile Adrian, who is now co-renting an apartment, has dived into a relationship with Alyzee. But suddenly, he becomes more and more distant with her.

EPISODE 24 - THE TIME HAS COME

It’s all over between Adrian and Alyzee, though the pretty young lawyer has no idea why. Caro does her best to reason with her son, but nothing works. The truth is, Adrian is sick, and what he is going to ask of his mother is beyond comprehension. Another thunderous blow to the whole family. Meanwhile, Clem and Jerome decide to leave everything behind to move to the countryside: a return to his roots for Jerome, a new life for Clem. As for Caro, just as she is getting over her struggle with Adrian, Xavier proposes marriage. For him, not another moment should be wasted in making their happiness official.

EPISODE 25 – ONE WOMAN TOO MANY

Caro and Xavier prepare to get married, but they weren’t expecting Dmitri and Anouchka’s mother Nathalie to return to France. For Caro, this woman ten years her junior is clearly a rival, and it is out of the question for her to get anywhere near Xavier. But Dmitri and his little sister are delighted to have their mother back. From that to imagining their parents getting back together again is just a small step, especially for Anouchka. Right in the middle of her wedding preparations, Caro learns that Nathalie hasn’t yet signed the divorce papers. She blows her top and escapes with Salome to Marie-France’s home. That gives Nathalie a fine opportunity to take advantage of the situation.
